In this captivating presentation, Jane takes her audience on a 'whistle-stop tour' of how evolution has informed our embodied way of navigating the world. She offers a basic understanding of the survival surveillance system which we operate under, and offers applicable and supportive tools to connect the theory to our bodily experience.
Coming from a youthwork background, Jane Wright returned to university as a mature student to study integrative counselling. As she delved into various psychological approaches she appreciated those 'penny drop moments' and discovering Polyvagal Theory impacted her significantly. Jane has since become passionate in igniting an interest within others for this valuable approach, dedicating her career to increase the accessibility of Polyvagal Theory which many different populations including adults and young people. Through her captivating talks, Jane shares her understanding of these ancient legacies about human experience and enables viewers to apply these wisdoms to their lives today.
